The term stem splitting describes something that once felt almost impossible: the ability to separate individual sounds from a fully mixed song. When it comes time to chop samples, the P6 includes a very quick "auto" chop function. If you take a sample, go to Shift + Voice, and enter the chop mode, you can instantly create playable slices across the keyboard. But here’s the biggest issue: once the chops are created, you can’t adjust where they start or end. So I started looking for a better solution, and I found one.
